The Cohen Foundation in India and the children's WISDOM Project are organizing non profit research, development, and training in the fields of academia and education. Through such activities, CFI and WISDOM are working towards the vision of an academically proactive community where syllabi, classroom activities, teaching methods, and administration operations all cooperation to provide inspiration for children to express themselves, discover creativity, and find success later in life.

Education should be creative and stimulating while also developing skills and knowledge for the future. All children have unique dreams and goals, and each individual student should have the freedom to discover the potential of their own unique skills and talents.

By collaborating with other organizations, foundations, and academic institutes, CFI and WISDOM are designing an integrative, inventive, intuitive, and creditable alternative to conventional education. Through collaboration we are taking measurable strides towards redefining the educational system.

Specific Activities Includes:

1. Conducting research on the effectiveness of education programs and curricula
   
   
2. Developing unique curricula for toddlers, infants, pre-kindengarden, elementary/primary, middle, and high school/higher secondary as well as for uneducated adults
   
   
3. Developing curricula for special interests including music, arts, physical education/sports, literature/writing, and other forms of creative expression
   
   
4. Developing early literacy curricula and vocational training programs
   
   
5. Designing assessment tools and materials and conduct relevant research
   
   
6. Training teachers, staff, and administrations using innovative and dynamic models for education
   
   
7. Distributing curricula and academic materials to participatory schools and institutions
   
   
8. Organizing yearly seminars for local teachers and academic communities
   
   
9. Collaborating and developing new educational strategies with partnering organizations
   
   
10. Organizing out-of-school programs and activities that encourage creativity and diversity within the students and community

Recent collaboration efforts:

• Grace Physiotherapy and CFI conducted free therapy camps for children with special needs.
• Training in English language (spell, write, read) for children living within slum communities in cooperation with the Boy's Reformation Club.
• CFI an Manju Foundation are working to provide educational materials to teachers in Kodaikanal.
